KS Certification System
Overview
Product Certification
KS certification scheme for product is the system of certifying that a certain product regulated in the relevant standards has passed product test, factory inspection and audit according to the criteria of relevant KS based on the Article 15 of Industrial Standardization Act, allowing it to indicate KS-mark on their product, packaging, container, statement of delivery warranty and/or promotional materials
Service Certification
KS certification scheme for service is designed to ensure that the service provider who may pass the onsite and service quality audit in accordance with the audit criteria of the relevant KS under the Article 16 of Industrial Standardization Act is allowed to indicate KS mark on the contract, statement of delivery, warranty and/or promotional materials.

Audit criteria for certification include manufacturing equipment, inspection facility & procedure, quality management, as well as technical condition for quality assurance.

Supports for KS-certified companies
KS certification scheme provides government organizations, local governments, government investment corporation and public organizations with the benefit, that they can preferentially purchase products and services by KS-certified companies in accordance with the Article 25 of Industrial Standardization Act.
